And the Lord, He is the One who goes before you. He will be with you, He will not leave you nor forsake you; do not fear nor be dismayed.”
Deuteronomy 31:8

God always goes before you. He takes care of the dirty work. Your battle is mostly over. 

The lines have fallen to me in pleasant places;
Yes, I have a good inheritance. Psalm 16:6

Those who have gone before you, prayed for you and helped raise you have set the groundwork for you inheritance in Christ. God has good things for you. 

But those who wait on the Lord
Shall renew their strength;
They shall mount up with wings like eagles,
They shall run and not be weary,
They shall walk and not faint. Isaiah 40:31

Wait on the Lord, He is working, and you will never tire. 

The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, To turn one away from the snares of death.
Proverbs 14:27

​God keeps us from destroying ourselves if we want. 

Behold, the Lord God shall come with a strong hand, and His arm shall rule for Him; 

Behold, His reward is with Him, and His work before him. Isaiah 40:10

God knows what he is getting into with you. But He is ready to work on your situation and is bringing you a reward. 

I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus. Philippians 3:14

Let's focus on what God has called us to, not what he has called us from. 

Even when we were dead in trespasses, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved)," Ephesians 2:5

God finds the good in us, rips off the dead so the good stuff can come out. 

Do not remember the former things, Nor consider the things of old. Behold, I will do a new thing, Now it shall spring forth; Shall you not know it? I will even make a road in the wilderness And rivers in the desert." Isaiah 43:18-19

You are free from your past and God will do new and beautiful things in your life. 

And you He made alive, who were dead in trespasses and sins. Ephesians 2:1 

Getting rid of the dead gives us new life. 

Many waters cannot quench love, Nor can the floods drown it. If a man would give for love All the wealth of his house, It would be utterly despised." Song of SOlomon 8:7 NKJV

​The old saying of not being able to buy love rings true.
