Watch for the signs so God can lead us

There are three major points we need to consider as we watch for the signs so God can lead us. God works in mysterious ways. We do not understand all of the complexities of the universe, yet God does. Imagine a world filled with millions of scientist and specialists who have intricate knowledge in one area. Yet we are tempted to generalize and sum up the world in our mindset thinking we have it all figured out. It isn’t wise to think in this manner. At the same time, we need to dare to dream the dream. Take some risks and think outside the box. The greatest revolutions have come from people who didn’t think ordinarily. They were extraordinary thinkers. Set out to do something and things miraculously fall into place. Now live the dream. Living the dream is my purposeful statement and it takes me to the unique place nobody else on the planet can go. Declare it and live it.

“Anyone who chooses to do the will of God will find out whether my teaching comes from God or whether I speak on my own.”
John 7:17 NIV

Point 1 - God works in mysterious ways.

“On the day the Lord gave the Amorites over to Israel, Joshua said to the Lord in the presence of Israel: “Sun, stand still over Gibeon, and you, moon, over the Valley of Aijalon.” So the sun stood still, and the moon stopped, till the nation avenged itself on its enemies, as it is written in the Book of Jashar. The sun stopped in the middle of the sky and delayed going down about a full day. There has never been a day like it before or since, a day when the Lord listened to a human being. Surely the Lord was fighting for Israel!”
Joshua 10:12-14 NIV

Point 2 - Dare to dream the dream.

“To these four young men God gave knowledge and understanding of all kinds of literature and learning. And Daniel could understand visions and dreams of all kinds. At the end of the time set by the king to bring them into his service, the chief official presented them to Nebuchadnezzar. The king talked with them, and he found none equal to Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael and Azariah; so they entered the king’s service. In every matter of wisdom and understanding about which the king questioned them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and enchanters in his whole kingdom.”
Daniel 1:17-20 NIV

Point 3 - Now live the dream.

“And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God hath showed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou: thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled: only in the throne will I be greater than thou. And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, See, I have set thee over all the land of Egypt. And Pharaoh took off his signet ring from his hand, and put it upon Joseph’s hand, and arrayed him in vestures of fine linen, and put a gold chain about his neck; and he made him to ride in the second chariot which he had; and they cried before him, Bow the knee: and he set him over all the land of Egypt.”
Genesis 41:39-43 ASV

Our daily thoughts and actions need to be adjusted in such a way that we are able to watch for various signs where God is leading us. He isn’t screaming and booming from the clouds most of the time. Instead he is giving us gentle nudges with the things that surround us and remember our major points.

1. God works in mysterious ways.
“Great is our Lord, and of great power: his understanding is infinite.”
Psalms 147:5 KJV

2. Dare to dream the dream.
“I planted the seed, Apollos watered it, but God has been making it grow.”
1 Corinthians 3:6 NIV

The seed comes but God makes it grow.

3.  Now live the dream
Live the dream and I pray over you:
““ ‘ “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.” ’” Numbers 6:24-26

As you walk and live the dream remember,

“The Lord is my shepherd, I lack nothing. He makes me lie down in green pastures, he leads me beside quiet waters, he refreshes my soul. He guides me along the right paths for his name’s sake. Even though I walk through the darkest valley, I will fear no evil, for you are with me; your rod and your staff, they comfort me. You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil; my cup overflows. Surely your goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.”
Psalm 23:1-6 NIV

So God put a seed in your heart, your job is to dream it and protect it. He will make it grow.
