While we explore the love of our savior let’s ponder three major points.
1. Jesus has His arms around you. When you can’t see Him it’s because he’s holding you so close. 2. God is always watching you. God is not watching to destroy you or judge you but to strengthen you. 3. He will always keep you safe. “I will call upon the LORD, who is worthy to be praised; So shall I be saved from my enemies.” Psalms 18:3 Point 1 - Jesus has His arms around you. “GOD also says: “When the time’s ripe, I answer you. When victory’s due, I help you. I form you and use you to reconnect the people with me, To put the land in order, to resettle families on the ruined properties. I tell prisoners, ‘Come on out. You’re free!’ and those huddled in fear, ‘It’s all right. It’s safe now.’ There’ll be foodstands along all the roads, picnics on all the hills— Nobody hungry, nobody thirsty, shade from the sun, shelter from the wind, For the Compassionate One guides them, takes them to the best springs. I’ll make all my mountains into roads, turn them into a superhighway. Look: These coming from far countries, and those, out of the north, These streaming in from the west, and those from all the way down the Nile!” Heavens, raise the roof! Earth, wake the dead! Mountains, send up cheers! GOD has comforted his people. He has tenderly nursed his beaten-up, beaten-down people.” Isaiah 49:8-13 Point 2 - God is always watching you. “I will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide you with My eye. Do not be like the horse or like the mule, Which have no understanding, Which must be harnessed with bit and bridle, Else they will not come near you. Many sorrows shall be to the wicked; But he who trusts in the LORD, mercy shall surround him. Be glad in the LORD and rejoice, you righteous; And shout for joy, all you upright in heart!” Psalms 32:8-11 Point 3 - He will always keep you safe. “I will lift up my eyes to the hills— From whence comes my help? My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth. He will not allow your foot to be moved; He who keeps you will not slumber. Behold, He who keeps Israel Shall neither slumber nor sleep. The LORD is your keeper; The LORD is your shade at your right hand. The sun shall not strike you by day, Nor the moon by night. The LORD shall preserve you from all evil; He shall preserve your soul. The LORD shall preserve your going out and your coming in From this time forth, and even forevermore.” Psalms 121:1-8 NKJV Remember you are so loved. God has a passion for you. A purpose for you is in His heart. Let’s review the three points: 1. Jesus has His arms around you. “The LORD of hosts is with us; The God of Jacob is our refuge. Selah” Psalms 46:7 NKJV 2. God is always watching you ““For His eyes are on the ways of man, And He sees all his steps.” Job 34:21 NKJV 3. He will always keep you safe “God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.” Psalms 46:1 NKJV You aren’t forgotten, you are not stranded. You are watched over, protected, strengthened and safe. Now chase that passion, your call and you shall prevail.
